ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL (IPA)
Isopropyl alcohol (IPA), also called 2-propanol or commonly known as IPA, one of the most common members of the alcohol family of organic compounds. It is a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor.
IPA dissolves a wide range of non-polar compounds. It evaporates quickly, leaving nearly zero oil traces, compared to ethanol, and is relatively non-toxic, compared to alternative solvents.
It is also commonly used as hand sanitizer as it is very effective agent against microbial bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
